Barbados Part V and VI - Bathsheba, the Zoo, the Rain and the Ride Home

Also featured in this video is the amazing Wildlife Reserve. The animals were literally at our fingertips, or toenails as you can see at the beginning of the segment. My favorite animals were the peacocks (I wanted to take a feather) and monkeys; on the other hand, JD loved the Reticulated Python. :)

Today will be our last post of Barbados. We had some awesome footage of snorkeling with the sea turtles in a port but we had some technical difficulties. We miss that wondrous island with its perfect beauty and crazy out-of-nowhere rainstorms. It was always the ideal temperature and perfect amount of sun. We couldn't have asked for a better group to be with for a week (family). Most importantly, we can't wait to go back!!

Barbados Part IV - Earthworks Pottery and Harrison's Cave

This was probably our favorite adventure - Earthworks Pottery and Harrison's Cave. JD definitely says, "Earthworks Pottery Barn"... I love my husband. Please note that Earthworks Pottery and Pottery Barn are two separate places. :) We bought two beautiful vases, one for ourselves and one for the Todd parents; a little jewelry holder for Theresa; a Barbados tea mug (because we love mugs... if you couldn't tell from our wedding registry); and two amazing pasta bowls which we use almost every day.

More than any video, this probably displays our super-touristic nature within a different country.

Barbados Part II - The Wedding

There is nothing more beautiful to us, in this season of our lives, than to be present at a wedding. This wedding was super special. I was able to see my brother (one of my best friends) marry the love of his life, a woman that cherishes his heart and finds joy in being around him. Thanks for being such a fantastic couple, Chase and Jackie. We are so thankful for you both.
